Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to assisting another agency. Upon arrival, Deputies conducted an inquiry on the subject through the Regional Emergency Communications Center. It was learned the subject had an active arrest warrant out of Magistrate Court. She was placed under arrest and transported to the SFCADF.
Case 2024000370 / Battery Against a Household Member / Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member / 01/20/24

Arrested: Leo Bustos (40 YOM)
Deputies were dispatched to a call for service in reference to disorderly conduct. The victim stated she and her son were involved in an argument over money for narcotics. During the course of the argument the suspect battered her, causing minor injuries. The suspect also damaged a bedroom door. The evidence collected corroborated with the victim's statement. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Through their investigation, deputies determined the suspect battered the victim during an altercation. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a criminal trespass. While on scene, the suspect was observed by deputies driving onto the property. Deputies contacted the suspect and observed signs of impairment. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
Case#202400358/Larceny and Burglary/1-19-24

Stolen: Water Heater ($3,000)
Deputies responded to the address in reference to a burglary incident. Property contractors advised that suspect(s), between the hours of 5:00 PM on 1/18/24 and 7:30 AM on 1/19/24, took a water heater tank from the residence. It is unknown at this time how entry was made. There is no suspect information at ths time.

Stolen/Damaged: Fence and Metal Roofing Material ($4,000)
Deputies made contact with the victim in reference to a theft. Upon contact, deputies learned that sometime in the early morning hours of 1-18-24, unknown suspect(s) cut the worksite fence and took roofing materials. At this time, no suspect information is available.
Case#2024000353/Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Damage to Property, and Larceny/1-19-24

Location: Sunset Road, Santa Fe, NM
Stolen: Stihl Leaf Blower, Toyota Tacoma.
Deputies responded to the address in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. The victim advised that he was warming up his pickup truck when an unknown suspect entered his property and took his vehicle. The victim said he had a Stihl leaf blower inside the vehicle. The vehicle was later located on Sunrise Road and released to the victim. The leaf blower was not located. There is no suspect information at this time.

Subject was arrested and served with a warrant at Santa Fe ADC. The warrant was for failure to comply with probation.
Case#2024000344/Agg DWI, Agg Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer, and Roadways Laned for Traffic/01-19-24

Location: Camino Del Rincon and Calle Estrella, Santa Fe County, NM
Arrested: Nicholas Martinez, 30YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police in reference to a crash and possible DWI. Upon arrival, it was learned the above-listed subject was contacted by tribal police but evaded in his vehicle. After a short pursuit, which led to the subject crashing, tribal police were able to detain the subject and smelled a heavy odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his expelled breath. The subject was transported to the hospital due to the crash and was later released. The subject refused any chemical testing. Due to the subject's signs of impairment, police team concept, and further investigation, deputies placed the subject under arrest, transported, and booked accordingly without injury.
