Location: Conchas Place (Santa Fe County)

Arrested: Noah Caufield (27 YOM)

Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check on a male that exited a vehicle and laid on the ground. Upon locating this male, he stated he drove a vehicle to this location and displayed signs of impairment. Standard Field Sobriety Tests were administered, and it was determned the driver was under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and/ or a narcotic. Inside the vehicle were several empty liquor containers. The subject was placed in custody and refused to submit to a chemical test. He was booked into the SFCADC.


Case#2024000278/Extortion/1-15-24

Handling Deputy: A. Gallardo

Entering Commander: Corporal D. Martinez

Address: Peak Place, Santa Fe County

Victim: 29 YOM

Deputies were dispatched to a report of extortion. The Victim advised, an unknown person threatened to leak an intimate video of him if he did not pay 3,000 dollars. No money was paid. The suspect was blocked on social media platforms.


Case #2024000274 / Battery Against a Household Member - 1/14/2024

Deputy Assigned: C. Lattin

Location: Los Pinos Rd. (Santa Fe) 

Arrested: Adrianna Sanchez (37 YO)

Deputies responded to Ojo Santa Fe in reference to a possible domestic disturbance. Deputies were able to locate the room in which the incident occured, and made contact with the victim who displayed obvious signs of being battered. Deputies were able to locate the suspect, who refused to provide a statement. She was placed under arrest and charged accordingly. 


Case #2024000273 / Driving on an Invalid/Revoked Drivers License - 1/14/2024

Deputy Assigned: M. Olivas

Location: Agua Fria St. & Montoya Pl. (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Manuel Dominguez (49 YO) 

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an illegible license plate. When making contact with the driver, it was discovered his drivers license was invalid-revoked with the arrest clause. Driver was arrested and charged accordingly. 


Case #2024000270 / Unattended Death, 1/14/2024

Deputy Assigned: C. Lattin

Location: Balsa Road 

Deceased: Robin Davis (63 YO) 

Deputies responded to the residence in reference to a female who was not conscious and not breathing. Investigation revealed the subject was found by friends a short time after going to lay down due to not feeling well. Subject was said to have lung and heart issues. There were no signs of foul play. 


Case 2024000268 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property / 01/14/24

Deputy Assigned: C. Podolak

Location: Los Pinos Road (Santa Fe County)

Victim: 56 YOM

Damaged / Stolen: $200 Door / Food $10

Deputies learned between 2:00 pm and 2:45 pm on 1/14/24, an unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's RV. The unkown suspect(s) ate some food from inside the victim's RV. The victim claimed that he locked three deadbolts when he left the residence. When he returned home, he believed his door to be pryed open.


Case 2024000265 / Unattended Death / 01/14/24

Deputy Assigned: C. Cullison

Location: Lumbre Del Sol

Decedent: 71 YOM

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest.  Medics were on scene no signs of life were observed.  The decedent was complaining of chest pains the night prior, but refused to go to the emergency room. OMI conducted a separate investigation. There were no signs of foul play.


Case 2024000264 / Unattended Death / 01/14/24

Decedent: 89 YOM

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest.  Medics arrived on scene and performed live-saving procedures, but were unsuccessful. OMI conducted a separate investigation.  There were no signs of foul play.     


Case 2024000256 Aggravated Assault X2

Assigned D. Moore

Entering Cpl. G. Nieto

N Horizon Ln ((Santa Fe)

Suspect- Ivan Portillo 39YOM (Santa Fe, NM)

Deputies were dispatched to N Horizon Ln. The caller stated that his father was intoxicated and had pointed a gun at him and his father's girlfriend. Both victims left the residence and called 911. Deputies arrived on scene and made contatc with the suspect was he was placed under arrest. Suspect was booked into SF ADC with out incident. 


Case#2024000255/Larceny/1-13-24

Assigned: F Concha

Entering: Sgt. C Valencia

Location: Santa Fe Ski Resort, 1477 NM 475, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Rossigol French Skis and Poles (Total Value $900)

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a theft. Deputies learned that the victim placed his skis in the designated ski rack. The victim left the location, and when he came back, the skis were missing. Resort security was contacted, and no one turned them into lost and found.
