On Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to a burglary report. Upon investigation, an unknown person(s) entered a residence (still under construction) and stole some tools. A generator, Milwaukee batteries and copper piping was taken. The incident occurred between the times of 4:00pm, 12/1/23 and 7:00am today. There is no suspect information at this time.

On December 1st, 2023, Deputy Gallardo initiated a traffic stop. Upon contact with the driver, Ms. Rodriguez, it was discovered she had 2 active warrants. Both warrants were for failing to appear on original charges of DWI. Ms. Rodriguez was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center fo incarceration.

On December 1st, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a report of a Bad Check. Upon investigation, a male by the name of Craig Melvin, issued the Victim a check for 2500 dollars. The check was issued during a transaction for audio equipment. The check later bounced and the victim could not cash it. Contact with Mr. Melvin has been unsuccessful.

On December 1st, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a report of a Bad Check. Upon investigation, a male by the name of Craig Melvin, issued the Victim a check for 2500 dollars. The check was issued during a transaction for audio equipment. The check later bounced and the victim could not cash it. Contact with Mr. Melvin was unsuccessful.

Deputies were dispatched to a Burglary report. Upon investigation, an unknown person(s) forcibly entered a residence (still under construction) and stole appliances. This occurred between the times of 2:00pm, 11/30/23 and 6:00am, 12/1/23. The total cost of the appliances is 8,300 dollars. At this time, there is no information on the suspect(s).
Case #2023007008 Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle / Criminal Damage 12/01/23

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a private property crash. During the investigation, it was learned a white and red in color, Ford, F-350, pick-up truck, containing various equipment was stolen from the location. The suspects also damaged a security gate to make entry into the compound.

Deputies responded to a call for service reference an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. It was learned a truck, trailer and construction equipment had been stolen from a construction site.

Deputies were dispatched to a rollover crash on U.S. 84/285. Upon arrival, it was discovered the driver had a revoked driver's license DWI related. Mr. Lucero was arrested and transported to Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.
Case #2023007000 Breaking and Entering / Criminal Damage 11/30/23

Damaged: $800.00 in property
Deputies resdponded to an alarm. Once on scene, they observed an open and broken door. Deputies cleared the residence and did not find anyone inside the home. Upon further investigation, two separate doors had been damaged.
