Location: 455 St. Michaels Drive (St. Vincents Hospital)

Suspect: Alisa Van Zelst 30 yoa female 

Subject is an inmate at SFADC who is being held on multiple felony warrants out of First Judicial Court. The subject claimed she had a seizure and was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital as a precaution. While at the hospital, the subject kicked a correctional officer 3 times in the chest while attempting to escape custody. Hospital Staff/Security were able to gain control of the subject and assist the correctional officer in getting the subject secured. Alisa was charged with Battery on a peace officer and Attempting to escape custody. 


Case #2024002047 // Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle - 4/20/2024

Location: Corral Blanco

Stolen: Utility Trailer 

On 4/20 Deputies responded to the residence in reference to a stolen trailer. Suspect pulled up to the residence, hooked up the trailer to a vehicle, and left the residence. Case remains under investigation at this time. 


Case #2024003027 // Battery Against a Household Member - 4/19/2024

Location: Entrada Tranquilas

Arrested: Bradford Bogle (49 YO) 

Deputes were dispatched to the residence for a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed the suspect had been drinking alcohol, and became irate with his parents. During an argument, suspect shoved his father multiple times. Suspect was arrested and charged accordingly. 


Case#2024002031/Unattended Death/4-19-24

Address: A Va Nu Po

Deceased: Unidentified male

Deputies were dispatched to a report of a male who collapsed while jogging. Santa Fe County Fire/EMS arrived but despite life saving procedures, the male could not be revived. The male is yet to be identified as he did not have any identification on his person. 


Case#2024002003/Driving While License Revoked/4-18-24

Handling Deputy: A. Gallardo

Entering Commander: Cpl. D. Martinez

Location: Frost Road

Arrestee: Luis Saiz (42YOM)

Deputy Gallardo conducted a traffic stop after discovering the registered owner of the vehicle, license is revoked (DWI related). Upon contact with the driver, Deputy Gallardo confirmed the driver is the registered owner, Luis Saiz. Mr. Saiz provided a driver's license but the status was still revoked. Mr. Saiz was placed under arrest without incident.   


Case #2024002012 / Fraud / 4/18/24

Commander Entering Sgt. V. Baca

Location: Mia's Road (Santa Fe County)

Victim: 54 YOA

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a fraud. The victim stated, on April 17, 2024, a charge was made to her Verizon account for $1300. The victim advised that an iPhone 15 was purchased. The victim contacted Verizon but could not verify how the charge was made to her account.


Case #2024001997 // Possession of a Controlled Substance, Warrant Arrest - 4/18/2024

Deputy Assigned: D. Lovato

Location: Casa Rufina

Arrested: Jared Taylor (38 YO)

Deputies responded to the area in reference to suspicious activity. Two individuals were located and one of the individuals identified was found to have an active warrant for a shoplifting charge. During search of his person, several fentanyl pills were located inside his pocket. Subject was taken to the detention center and charged accordingly. 


Case #2024001991 // Aggravated Fleeing, Aggravated DUI, Reckless Driving - 4/17/2024

Deputy Assigned: C. Lattin

Location: Interstate 25, Mile Marker 299

Arrested: Jonathan Rodriguez (39 YO) 

Deputies were dispatched to the Interstate in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle and observed it in and out of traffic lanes. When Deputies attempted a traffic stop, the driver fled, leading Deputies on a short pursuit. Driver eventually was stopped and detained, and showed signs of impairment. Driver refused chemical testing and a blood warrant was drafted due to prior DUI's. 


Case#2024001981/Breaking and Entering-Criminal Damage/4-17-24

Victim: 41 YOM

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a welfare check. According to the reporting party, a Burglary report was taken by officers with NMSP. The reporting party believed the suspect(s) were back as she found a plastic window cover had been removed. The house was checked but no one was found inside. The reporting party could not identify any new missing items. 


Case#2024001933 - Burglary/ Larceny

Entering: Cpl: F. Hernandez 

Location: Camino Alazan, Santa Fe NM 

Stolen: Household goods

Contact was made with the reporting party the operations manager for Zach and Son’s Construction. The reporting party stated the residence is under new construction and the home was not locked or secured. She advised an unknown suspect(s) made entry into the residence and took multiple household goods. The home is now secured and the investigation is ongoing.
