Arrested: Glenn Gabaldon 51 YOA male

The driver was stopped by a Tesuque Tribal Police officer after noticing a traffic infraction. Deputies responded to the location and discovered the driver was operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license. The driver also showed signs of intoxication and performed Scandalized Field Sobriety Tests. The driver was arrested without further incident.


Case #2024001770 Aggravated battery, Driving while under the influence, Reckless driving, Open container

Location: Wheat St, Espanola

Arrested: Jorden Vigil, 22 YOA male, Espanola

Deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision. Deputies contacted the driver of the vehicle and observed signs of impairment. The driver was then arrested. Deputies were also advised the driver had gotten into a physical altercation with the passenger when the passenger attempted to call law enforcement due to the collision. The driver was issued a summons due to being admitted into the hospital for injuries sustained during the collision.

Between 2PM-6:30PM, unknown suspect(s) entering victims unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet containing cash and credit cards. incident is under investigation.

Pueblo Garcia Rd.

Reporting party stated her boyfriend left the residnce thursday April 4, 2024 and never returned home. Unkown where individual could have gone and unknown clothing description. 


Case #2024001778 / Aggravated Fleeing, DUI, Leaving Scene of Accident, Open Container - 4/7/2024

Location: Cerrillos Road

Arrested: Jose Melendez-Ortiz (20 YO)

Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop due to the vehicle being unable to maintain it's lane. The driver did not stop, and accelerated to extremely fast speeds. Driver crashed and hit two traffic poles, then continued to drive southbound on Cerrillos Road, eventually crashing at Rancho Viejo Boulevard. Driver showed signs of impairment, and open containers were found in the vehicle. 


Case #2024001769 Unattended Death

Location: Cerrillos Heights, Santa Fe

Deceased: 60 YOA male, Santa Fe/Arizona

Deputies were dispatched to an unattended death. Deputies were advised that a male went to check on a friend living on his property. The Friend located the decedent in a trailer, not conscious and not breathing. It was determined the decedent was beyond lifesaving efforts. The Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) was contacted and responded to the scene to take over the investigation. No signs of foul play were observed.

Deputies were dispatched to a report of a burglary. Deputies were advised unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole multiple items from within. There is no suspect information at this time. This case remains under investigation.  


Case #2024001767 Aggravated DWI, Roadways laned for traffic

Location: Mile marker 18 NM 14, Santa Fe

Arrested: Natali Morales, 25 YOA female, Roswell

Deputies observed a vehicle traveling southbound on NM 14, unable to maintain its lane of travel. A traffic stope was conducted on the vehicle. The driver showed signs of impairment, and was placed under arrest. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Missing: Crystal Stylers, 48YOF

Deputies were dispatched to make contact with the reporting person. Upon contact, deputies learned the missing subject had not been heard from for the past twenty four hours. The subject has been entered into NCIC as missing.


Case#2024001758/ID Theft/04-05-24

Assigned: R Vallejo

Entering: Sgt. C Valencia

Location: Puye Road, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Identity 

Deputies were requested to contact a female regarding identity theft. Upon making contact, Deputies learned the female was in the process of claiming unemployment benefits. During the process, the female was advised that her son's social security number was being used for employment in an area outside of New Mexico and Colorado.
