Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to an assistance with other agency. Upon arrival it was learned that Pojoaque Tribal Police located a stolen motor vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Pojoaque Tribal Police determined the driver/suspect was non-tribal and called for SFSO. SFSO arrived on the scene and based on the police team concept, arrested the suspect. The suspect was transported and booked accordingly.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a burglary. It was learned that on March 14, 2024, unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the victim's residence and took the above items.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a fraud. Upon arrival, deputies learned the victim received a telephone call from the suspect(s) pretending to be a friend. The suspect(s) told the victim that he was being sent a delivery and for the victim to give them his driver's license number. The suspect(s) later contacted the victim, advising that he had missed the delivery and that he needed to pay a delivery fee and fine for the missed delivery. The victim paid and soon realized the interaction was fraudulent.

Deputies located Mr. Prieto prowling around homes on Vereda De San Antonio. Mr. Prieto was found to have an active arrest warrant and was arrested without incident. Prieto was booked in to the Santa Fe County Jail

Solis surrendered himself to Sheriff's Deputies on an active arrest warrant. Solis was booked in to the jail without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at this intersection. Through their investigation, Deputies learned that one of the drivers involved was driving on a revoked license due to a previous DWI. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Arrested: David Wheeler, 32 YOM
Subject appeared at District Court for a hearing. During the hearing, it was learned he had an active warrant for his arrest. Subject was placed under arrest, transported and booked into Santa County Jail without incident.
Case #2024001338 Aggravated burglary, Criminal damage to the property of a household member

Suspect: Raymond Ortega, 36 YOA male, Espanola
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a 911 hang up call/possible domestic disturbance. Deputies arrived on scene and were advised the suspect broke the widow to his ex-girlfriend’s residence, then attempted to make entry into the residence. The suspect was armed with a hatchet style ax/knife. The suspect left prior to the Deputies arrival. A warrant was issued for the suspect.

Arrested: Tara Linke, 43YOF, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to a wrong-way driver call at the above location. Prior to the deputy's arrival, bystanders were able to make contact with the above Subject and take her keys away. While speaking to the Subject, Deputies were able to smell a heavy odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from her expelled breath, observed slurred speech, and bloodshot watery eyes. The Subject submitted to a breath alcohol sample, which was above the legal limit of .08. Subject was arrested, transported, and booked accordingly without incident.

At approximately 6:40am, deputies were dispatched to the Buffalo Thunder Casino/Resort in reference to a small child, wondering around, unattended. Upon arrival, it discovered, officers wiht the Pojoaque Police Department recieved the call at approximately 5:30am. Officer with Pojoaque attempted to locate the childs mother but were unsuccessful. Deputies also went door to door, knocking, attempting to locate the child's parents/guardian but also to no success. CYFD was called and took custody of the child. Later that day, the mother began calling the front desk, demanding her child back. Detectives with the Sheriff's Office responded and would later arrest the mother, Ms. Montoya for Child Abuse.
