Pojoaque conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was returning as a stolen motor vehicle. Deputies took over the investigationa and the subject was placed under arrest. Subject was driving on an invalid-revoked license with the arrest clause attached for a prior DWI. Subject was booked into SF ADC With out incident.

Location: La Bajada Rest Area, Santa Fe County, NM

Stolen: Firearms x 2 (Total Value $900.00)

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. According to the victim, she parked at the location on October 19, 2023, at around 7:00 p.m. When the victim returned to the vehicle, she discovered two firearms had been taken from inside. There was no damage to the vehicle, and both firearms were entered as stolen in NCIC.
