During a traffic stop subject was identified and found to have active warrants for her arrest. One warrant was out of Santa Fe Municipal Court and another out of District Court. She was arrested and booked into SFADC. During the booking process, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

Decedent: 37 YOF
Deputy dispatched to location in reference to an unresponsive female. Once on scene and through investigation it was learned, decedent suffered from health issues and was recently in and out of the hospital. Cause of death appears to be of natural causes. No foul play observed or suspected.

STOLEN: 38 REVOLVER, BLACK BROWN HANDLE
VICTIM STATED BETWEEN 10/15/2023 2300 HRS AND 10/16/2023 0600 HRS, UNKNOWN SUSPECT(s) ENTERED HIS RENTAL VEHICLE AND STOLE A .38 CALIBER REVOLVER HANDGU FROM THE CENTER CONSOLE. IT IS UNKNOWN HOW ENTRY WAS MADE INTO THE VEHICLE, THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE.

Deputies received a call for service in regards to a robbery. Deputies learned a male entered a business and demanded money from the cash register and safe. The suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the incident. The suspect then left the store. This case remains active.
Case #2023006136 Aggravated stalking (Violation of a restraining order)

Summons: Alyssa Martinez, 27 YOA female, Chimayo NM
Deputies received a call for service in regards to a violation of a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO). Deputies were advised the victim had an active TRO against the suspect. The suspect violated the TRO by contacting the victim, and posting derogatory comments on social media. The suspect was issued a summons for this incident.

Descendant: 66 YOM
Deputy dispatched to location in reference to an unresponsive male. Once on scene and through investigation, it was learned the descendant suffered from cancer. He and next of KIN were expecting his death. No signs of foul play observed or suspected. Death appears to be of natural causes.

Arrested: Joseph Mondragon, 19 YOM
Deputy responded to a motor vehicle crash at aforementioned location. Once on scene and through investigation, signs of impairment were observed on Joseph. Joseph admitted using Ketamine four hours prior at a concert. Joseph submitted to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and a Drug Recognition Expert Evaluation where signs of impairment were observed. Joseph was charged and booked into Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Arrested: Samuel Brito, 36 YOA male, Albuquerque
Deputies were dispatched to ADF in reference to an inmate battering a nurse at the jail facility. Deputies learned, through their investigation, the suspect battered a nurse while he was being treated for a possible medical episode. The suspect was rebooked into ADF accordingly.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, Santa Fe Medics were already on scene and conducting life-saving measures but were unsuccessful. Deputies conducted an investigation and determined foul play was not involved. OMI arrived on the scene and conducted their investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a larceny. Deputies while enroute to the location located the suspect and detained him. Through investigation it was learned the suspect entered the business and took a electronic ordering device (Value$2,000). The suspect was arrested, transported, and booked accordingly without incident.
