During his court hearing, Cristian was remanded into custody by the Honorable Segura for failure to comply with conditions of release. Cristian was transported and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

Arrested: Renee Saavedra, 27 YOA female, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision. Upon contact with the driver, deputies observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
Case #2024002852 Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle

Summons: Jeffrey Martinez, 28 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to a call of a stolen vehicle. Deputies were advised, over the weekend, calling party and her boyfriend had gotten into a physical altercation. The caller left to a neighbor’s house. While the calling party was at the neighbor’s house, the suspect stole her vehicle. A summons was issued for the suspect.

Location: 500 Blk NM 76, Chimayo
Arrested: Juvenile
Deputies were dispatched to a call of a male trespassing on the calling party’s property. Deputies were advised the suspect also stabbed a dog belonging to the caller. The male was detained until deputies arrived. The male was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, to later be transferred to a juvenile facility.
Case #2024002813 Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, Vehicle burglary

Location: Rabbit Road/Old Galisteo Road, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. While deputies were enroute, the victim located his vehicle down the road from where it was taken. It was discovered that the victim had left his keys in the vehicle while he was out for a run. Several items had also been taken from the vehicle that were not recovered. There is no suspect information at this time.

Suspect: Joe Quintana, 42YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to the jail in reference to a battery. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was learned the suspect spat at the victim, hitting her in the face. The suspect was rebooked on the above charges.
Case #2024002800 Breaking and Entering, Criminal Damage

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a breaking and entering. Deputies were advised unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence, but nothing was taken. At this time there is no suspect information.
Case#2024002793/Arson and Criminal Damage to Property/6-2-24

Location: Avenida Del Sur, Santa Fe, NM
Arrested: Jordan Garcia, 31YOM, Santo Domingo Pueblo, NM
Deputies were dispatched to the above location for assistance with fire. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the above male subject was located near a dumpster belonging to the business. Moments later, a fire started inside the dumpster, causing about $250.00 of damage. Surveillance video captured the incident. The suspect was placed under arrest, transported, and booked appropriately without incident.

Suspect: Juan Hernandez-Castro, 30YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to an after-the-fact domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies learned the suspect battered the victim. The victim's injuries were consistent with her story. Deputies were unable to make contact with the suspect. An arrest warrant was approved by a judge and entered into NCIC.
Case #2024002783 // Aggravated DUI, Leaving the Scene of a Crash, Following too Closely - 6/1/2024

Arrested: Trinidad Lucero (38 YO)
Location: NM 14 & Rancho Viejo
Deputies were dispatched to a hit and run crash at the above area. Contact was made with the reporting party, who advised his vehicle had been hit, and the suspect vehicle left the area of the crash. Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle, and the driver was found to be passed out in the drivers seat of the vehicle, with it still running. A DUI investigation was conducted, and the driver displayed signs of impairment. He submitted to chemical testing and blew a 0.16 BAC.
