Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a battery. Upon arrival deputies learned the suspect and victim got into an altercation. According to the victim, she was holding her two year old child when the suspect pushed them to the ground. The suspect left the location prior to deputies arrival. Suspect was summonsed into Santa Fe Magistrate Court for the above charges.

On August 31, 2023, Santa Fe County Detectives received information regarding a stolen motor vehicle at the above listed location. Detectives discovered there were two stolen vehicles reported out of the Santa Fe Police Department within the last week. Detectives recovered the two stolen vehicles and charged Steven Montoya, Antonio Mendez, Alisa Van Zelst and Alexis Chaves with receiving, transferring a stolen motor vehicle. All four suspects were booked at the Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

On September 1, 2023, Deputies served Ms. Van-Zelst with two arrest warrants while she was incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Jail. The warrants were failure to appear on a unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance and bringing contraband into a place of imprisonment. She was rebooked on the warrants.

Deputies observed a vehicle unable to maintain its lane of travel. Deputies stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver. Signs of impairment were observed. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a male that was not conscious and not breathing in the steam room at this facility. Medics arrived on scene and advised the male was beyond lifesaving measures. No signs of foul play were observed. OMI was contacted to conduct their investigation.

Deputies responded to the above location, in reference to a burglary. Deputies learned suspects entered the property by cutting a hole in the chainlink fence. Five storage units were burglarized.
