Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to an assistance with other department. Deputies arrived on scene and learned Pojoaque Police Department was sent to a welfare check in reference to a female slummed over in the vehicle. Pojoaque Police Department woke up the female. within plain view was a white powdery substance believed to be a cocaine and heroin mixture. the subject admitted to possessing the substance and stated the substance was cocaine/heroin. the subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked accordingly without incident.

On the above date, deputies were dispatched to a larceny. Upon arrival, it was learned that the victim noticed her furniture missing from her leased residence. Suspect is pending.
Case #2023005135 Agg. Dwi, Motor vehicle crash 08-27-23

Arrested: Daniel Sam 33 yom Picuris Pueblo
Deputies were dispatched to a crash with injuries. Upon arrival, they located the subject who had been involved in a roll over crash. Investigation revealed the subject was operating a vehicle and attempting to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone. The subject lost control of the vehicle and rolled the vehicle into a guardrail. The subject was taken to the Espanola Hospital. While making contact with he male, he showed signs of intoxication. He refused to perform any and all testing and was arrested. He was medically cleared and transported to SFADC without further incident.

The above-listed vehicle was reported stolen by security. At about 7:30 p.m., an unknown person entered the vehicle which was running with its keys in the ignition. The vehicle was stolen and rammed through a security gate. The vehicle is an Opera security vehicle with yellow flashing lights. Investigation is on going.

On the above date, deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a domestic violence call. Upon arrival, deputies learned the above subjects had gotten into an argument, and during that argument, a battery occurred; the victim showed physical signs of a battery occurring. It was also learned during the argument the suspect caused damage to the screen door of the residence. Subject was arrested, transported and booked into ADC without incident.

Deputies responded to a call of a missing person. The above subject’s sister has not heard or seen the missing in several days. Missing person checked out of a motel in Santa Fe and has not been seen or heard from since. Subject was entered into NCIC as missing.
Case #2023005127 Driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs

Deputies were dispatched to a report of a wrong way driver on Interstate 25. While searching the area Deputies located a vehicle matching the description of the wrong way driver. Deputies located a vehicle in the area and conducted a check of the vehicle due to it matching the description given by dispatch. Deputies contacted the driver and observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
